North Country Elite Coach Application
Thank you for your interest in joining our top-notch coaching staff here at North Country Elite! Our Stallions coaches pride themselves on not only being the best instructors we can, but also on the personal relationships we form with our cheerleaders. Since our program is a non-profit and we do not charge our families monthly fees, all our board members and our coaching staff are volunteers. We are all here simply for our love of cheer and our love of working with our athletes.

Our season runs from August to late April/early May, depending on what end-of-year competitions we attend, with pre-season meetings in June.
We practice 2-3 days per week, depending on which team(s) you are assigned to. Our typical practice schedule is Sunday mornings/early afternoon, and then either Monday, Wednesday or Thursday evenings, again dependent upon team assignment. We begin attending competitions in November. We ARE a travel competitive program. We try to stay within 4 hours of home but due to the competitiveness of our sport, we may travel further. The majority of our competitions will take place on weekends, it is very rare that a comp would be on a weekday. Our end-of-year events are typically always more than 4 hours away and our end of season event happens in Orlando, Florida, either in Mach or late-April. Our program has attended Nationals in Florida for the last 5 years (2 with Pop Warner and 3 since we have went out on our own as a competitive rec program).

All of our coaches must be certified through USA Cheer and complete a background check. The links for this training and background check will be provided to you upon acceptance into our program. The fees associated with this (typically around $50)  will be reimbursed to you one you have provided us with your certifications and have completed the season.

We do ask our coaches participate in the fundraisers that are conducted by our teams. This is to help offset the cost of your hotel rooms, certifications, coaches shirts, etc., since all of our funding is through fundraising.
PLEASE DO NOT FILL OUT THIS FORM IF YOU CANNOT COMPLETE AND COMMIT TO THE ENTIRE SEASON.
