Thank you for your interest in the Normal Marching Band Invitational on the campus of Illinois Wesleyan University. The Invitational will be held during the afternoon/evening on Saturday, September 30, 2023. Illinois Wesleyan University’s Tucci Stadium has artificial turf and is located at 302 E. Emerson Street in Bloomington.

To perform at this event, please read and complete this application. An additional form requesting program and script information will be sent prior to the event.

The fee for participation in this event is $200.00, payable by check to the Unit 5 Music Parents upon submission of the application or no later than Friday, August 11, 2023. Refunds due to cancellation will not be available after Friday, August 11, 2023.

The above-named band will appear at the Normal Marching Band Invitational at Illinois Wesleyan University on Saturday, September 30, 2023. We understand and agree that our participation in this event is voluntary and that, except when or unless caused by the gross negligence or willful misconduct of the contest hosts, the Normal West/Normal Community High School Bands, their Unit 5 Music Parents Association, the McLean Co. Unit District No. 5 Schools, and Illinois Wesleyan University, their officers, members, directors, employees, or volunteers shall not be nor later become liable or responsible in any way for any death, injury, damage, delay, or irregularity which may occur while participating in or as a result of this event.

The contest hosts and site are not responsible for securing or accounting for the appropriate permissions.
