ESY Registration - 2021

Maine Township HSD 207 is extending an invitation to your child to join the Extended School Year (ESY) program for the summer of 2021. ESY services will be held at Maine East High School for all students eligible per their Individualized Education Plan (IEP) and enrolled at any of Maine Township HSD 207 schools. As in previous summers we have been able to offer ESY services on site for the District at Maine East HS. This upcoming summer we are planning for services to be in-person, or if necessary online in a remote learning format.  There is no fee for the program and we will begin Monday, June 14th, and end on Thursday, July 22nd with the hours of 8:00 am to 12:00 pm.

Our staff will include Special Education Teachers, Teacher Assistants, Speech-Language Pathologist, Psychologists, Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, and other related service personnel. The purpose of ESY is to help students maintain current skill levels while continuing to access supports over the summer break.

Please complete the online registration form by Monday, March 15, 2021. If you choose to decline services, please indicate that through the registration process by the deadline to assist in assigning students a classroom teacher.
