Thank you for your interest in becoming a school pen pal for 2024 and being as passionate as we are about inspiring children and encouraging the love of literature. We're excited to take our new initiative into its second year and that you and your students will hopefully be a part of it.

Here’s how the 2024 program will work:

· Book clubs, individual classes and library groups in Grades 1 to 7 can sign up

· Multiple classes in the same year level need to be signed up as ONE group with ONE contact person, and will be paired with a single author/illustrator

· If you’re using a school email address, please speak to your IT department to make sure your settings allow emails from our team, preventing our correspondence being blocked or going into junk mail

· If you need assistance with postage costs, please let us know by emailing Kate at authorpenpals@gmail.com. We will keep this information confidential

· Depending on final numbers, we may have to employ a waiting list system for 2024 so please try and register as soon as you can

Once you've completed and submitted the form, we will be in touch early next year to let you know what happens next.

And please have a thorough read of our website first so you know what's expected of you. We do understand that life often gets in the way of commitments. If your or your school's circumstances change at any time throughout 2024 and you can no longer commit to the minimum requirements, just let us know and we can sort out alternative arrangements for your pen pal.
