Why are you interested in serving on a Chamber council/committee?

Mark your understanding and acceptance of the following statements: *

Appointments to a Council are made in September/October of each year by the Chamber's Board of Directors. The Board will select qualified applicants.

Committee and Council members must hold a current Chamber membership to volunteer or be associated with a business/organization that is a member. Certain exceptions may be made for retired individuals on a case-by-case basis.

Council members are asked to consider issues on behalf of the Chamber's members rather than represent any individual interest or organization.

All Council/committee action is advisory to the Chamber Board of Directors and does not become policy until and unless it is approved by the Board.

Council members are limited to a maximum of three (3) meeting absences during a calendar year.

The Council membership roster is subject to annual review by the Chamber Board of Directors.
