The AMC 10/12 exam is a competition put on by the Mathematical Association of America. It is a 25 question, 75 minute multiple choice examination in high school mathematics. Students can take either the AMC 10 if they have not yet completed 10th grade or the AMC 12. Calculators are not allowed.
The BYU Math Department will facilitate the administration of the exam on Tuesday, November 16th, 2021. Please register by Wednesday, October 20, 2021 so we can be sure to order enough exams. You may still register after that date, but you will then need to contact the events coordinator (see below) to determine whether we have enough exams for you.
On the day of the exam, please arrive at or before 4:30, so we can begin the exam promptly. The exam will be held in room 116 in the Talmage Building on BYU Campus.
If you have any further questions, please contact the BYU events coordinator by email at
events@math.byu.edu or by phone at (801) 422-8959.
