1. a) Please consider the Vision that Township reaffirmed earlier this year (above) and give us your opinion on how it would look if it were to be built!
1. b) What would a secure (or safe?) and resilient community look like to you if you could build it?…think personal safety, climate change, weather (floods/drought/wildfires) or energy or food resiliency…
1. c) How about affordable?  Healthy?  A place of trust, camaraderie and pride?
1.  d) What are some words or sentences to describe the built form you envision?  You can also draw a sketch and email it to: clerk@manitouwadge.ca or info@superiorconsultingteam.com, or drop it off at the Township Office.  (Built form refers to the function, shape and configuration of buildings as well as their relationship to streets and open spaces).
1. e) What would the built form look like if you were walking or driving or riding down the street or sidewalk? How would it feel? (Would it be close to the sidewalk or road?  How big or small would it be?)
2. In 25 years (that’s the planning horizon for the OP), if you were to leave and come back to Manitouwadge, what would it look like if all the things you love about the buildings and layout were kept, and all the things you didn’t love were changed? How would you describe the change? Where would you see the town expanding to?
3. The citizens of Manitouwadge have been busy! We have heard from you through the Trails Master Plan, the Rebranding process, the Recreation Plan, the Community Revitalization Plan, and Strategic Plan, that (among other things) you are an outdoor adventure community; and one of the key things you need more of, is waterfront space. What would you like to see built there? What kind of physical space would it require?
4. We also heard there needs to be more accommodation options for tourists. Are there other uses that need more space? Or other things you’d like to see developed in Manitouwadge? (Look back to your Vision for inspiration…)
5. Are there special areas you’d like to see protected from development? If so, why? Think about….pre-contact/Indigenous traditional use areas and/or archaeological resource areas,  ecologically important areas, an old building or art feature, drinking water, ground water, forest, medicines, trails, connections (ecological or human), rocks, vistas, etc.
6. Would you like to live and work in Manitouwadge in 25 years? If so, why? Why not? If yes, where would you like to work or what would you like to work at? Is there enough space for that right now? Would it conflict?
7. How do you get around Manitouwadge? Is it easy? If not, what are the challenges?
8. Are there things you’d like to do in and around your home that are currently not permitted in the Zoning By-Law? Or that is not clear?
9. Anything else you’d like to say about physical development outside of crown land?
