Hampshire FA has introduced a new award for the 2023 Grassroots
Football Awards. Open to Hampshire FA clubs and/or leagues, we invite our
members to put forward their nominations and best practice examples of the work
and successful outcomes, they have achieved by working with one of their partners/sponsors.
As this is a new (pilot) award for the
2022/23 season, the county FA also welcomes submissions from the 2021/22 season
as well as the 2022/23 season to ensure we can maximise the opportunities for
members to nominate. The conditional requirement is that the partner MUST still be
associated with the club or league in the current 2022/23 season if the
submission is based on work and achievements from last year.
Only one award is available for one club or
league based in Hampshire and must be affiliated to Hampshire FA. The club
and/or league must be able to demonstrate how they have made a considerable
impact and produced successful outcomes for their club or league gained as a result of the
partnership.
Open for entries:
Thursday 1st December 2022
Deadline for entries: Thursday
16th February 2023 at 5pm
Judges review submissions: Friday 17th February - Thursday 9th March
2023.
Judges decision day: Wednesday 15th March 2023 (this will be the
Teams/meeting date)
One successful club or league will be contacted on Thursday 16th March after
12pm. If you have not received an email or call on the day, please note that
sadly your submission was unsuccessful at this time.
Please note there is only ONE award.
The award-winning club or league and partner will be invited to attend the Hampshire FA Grassroots Football Awards event in 2023 to collect their award on stage. The awards ceremony will take place on Saturday 15th July 2023 at Hilton at the Ageas Bowl from 5:30pm onwards. 2x tickets will be offered to include 1x ticket for a club or league representative and 1x ticket for the sponsor/partner.
Nominations are welcome NOW and this form will close on Thursday 16th February.
We will contact the sponsor to verify the partnership and the submission details and may request additional evidence if required.
Please note you must have permission from your partner / sponsor to complete this form as it will require providing their contact details.
The judging panel will consist of a select number of Hampshire FA Commercial Partners who will all review the submissions and decide on the winning nomination by the deadline above. Hampshire FA will not form part of the judging process and have absolutely no input on the submissions, other than to coordinate the arrangements (sending the nominations across to the partners).
