Part of Live Arts’ commitment to Education and forging theater and community includes developing future theater artists both on stage and behind the scenes. Every season we chose a show to pair teenagers with experienced theater professionals on the production team in order to learn about a technical aspect of theater. MEN ON BOATS by Jaclyn Backhaus is the 2019-20 season Mentor/Apprentice show.

Teens interested in applying to be Apprentices should:

Where: Third Floor Lobby of Live Arts, 123 East Water St., Charlottesville

IN ADDITION TO ATTENDING the meeting AND/OR if unavailable to attend, please submit this form by Wednesday, October 30th, 2019 at 7pm.

Production Meetings for MEN ON BOATS (including Mentors and Apprentices) begin Tuesday, November 19th, 2019, run from 5pm to 6:30pm, and continue weekly until Tech Week.

Audition Dates: November 17th and 18th, 2019
Rehearsals Start: Week of January 6th, 2020
Tech Week: Sunday, March 1st to Thursday, March 5th, 2020
Performance Dates: March 6th- March 28th, 2020
