JVA PRE-ARRANGED ABSENCE FORM 2023-2024  
Consistent with Colorado and Jeffco Public School's policies, in order for the absence to be excused, the student must meet one or more of the  following conditions: 1)is in good academic standing 2)has no unexcused absences, or 3)has four or fewer excused absences in a semester or seven  or fewer in a school year.

FORM MUST BE SUBMITTED 3 DAYS PRIOR TO THE SCHEDULED ABSENCE
Administrator will check student attendance to determine whether student meets state-mandated attendance policy.
Parent/guardian will be notified of approval or denial.  If not approved, the student absence will be considered "unexcused."  If approved, absence will be marked "excused" and student will have two days for everyday  missed to complete make-up work.
