STARS Mentor Application
The Southern Exposure show offers a fast-paced and exhilarating experience, which can be daunting for first-timers. To assist our STARS students in familiarizing themselves, we are seeking volunteers from the retail and food service industries to accompany them on a walkthrough of the show floor during the initial hour. If you are passionate about aiding others, enjoy making connections, and would like to volunteer your time, please complete the information below. Our team will reach out to you soon!
Requirements
are:
Meet with your student directly following the Keynote Brunch to discuss their goals for the show
Talk with them about who they might like to meet, and make suggestions of your own
Be kind, and encourage them to look for opportunities in the fresh produce industry
Escort them around the show floor for a minimum of 1 hour and making introductions along the way
