Please fill out this form if you would like to apply for the Year 7 Band Discovery Fellowship. Here are the details:

The Music Department is offering TWO Band Discovery Fellowships to successful applicants from Year 7.

Successful applicants will:
- Not already be committed to learning an instrument (Strings, Band, Percussion) at SCEGGS.
*you may still apply if you learn piano or voice outside of SCEGGS.
- Have an intention to continue learning this instrument after the fellowship has ended.
- Be committed to practicing your instrument at home.  
- Have discussed this commitment (including the Peripatetic Music Program Guidelines) with your parents.

If selected you will be able to choose to learn either the Euphonium, Trombone, Tuba, or Bassoon. You will be able to try this instruments before making a final selection, but please research the instruments before applying.

If successful you will receive:
- Fully funded private tuition for 1 year.
- Free instrument hire provided by the school. *this will continue indefinitely (beyond 1 year).
