Music Signups
Are you looking to sign up for music groups this year?  You may be eligible depending on age and experience.  You might be able to sign up for:

3rd Graders and older:
Handbell Choir
Strings (Violin or Cello)

4th Graders and older:
Beginning Band (Drums, Flute, Clarinet, Trumpet, Trombone, Saxophone)
Guitar Club
Vocal Choir

5th Graders and older:
Advanced Band (Drums, Flute, Clarinet, Trumpet, Trombone, Saxophone)
Jazz Band (same as band, but also with guitar/bass/piano)

You can sign up for any group or as many groups as you qualify for.  Beginning and Advanced band instruments receive a weekly lesson in school as well as a before school rehearsal, while other groups have a single combined rehearsal/lesson time.  The schedule can be found below:

SCHEDULE
Mondays:        8:00 - 8:30   Strings lesson (beginners)
                         3:10 - 3:40   Guitar Club
Tuesdays        8:00 - 8:30   Strings lesson (2nd year)
                         3:10 - 3:40  Jazz Band
Wednesdays  8:00 - 8:30   Advanced Band rehearsal (all Adv. band members)
                        3:10 - 3:40   Advanced Drum lesson
Thursday        8:00 - 8:30   Beginning Band rehearsal (all Beg. band members)
                        3:10 - 3:40   Handbell Choir
Friday             8:00 - 8:30   Vocal Choir
                       3:10 - 3:40   Advanced Saxophone lesson
All other lessons are during the day between 8:30 - 3:10, times are TBD and dependent on who signs up.


INSTRUMENT RENTALS:
All rentals are done through Ellis Music.  If you are renting, you can fill out the rental forms on Ellismusic.com and it will be delivered to GVS.
