UNIVERSAL FIREARMS SAFETY RULES
1. All firearms are considered loaded at all times.

2. Always point firearms in a safe direction (downrange, the ground, etc.), until on target and ready to fire.

3. Always keep your trigger finger straight along the frame until on target and ready to fire.

4. Always know your target and what is behind it.
RANGE SPECIFIC SAFETY RULES
1.  Shooters MUST complete and sign all RELEASES, WAIVERS, HOLD HARMLESS, INDEMNIFICATION AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK AGREEMENTS before using the range.

2.  All Federal, state, and local firearm laws MUST be obeyed.

3.  Ear and eye protection MUST be worn at all times.

4.  Shooters MUST case and uncase all firearms at the firing line.

5.  Shooting from the prone position or kneeling position is PROHIBITED..

6.  Firearms not on the firing line MUST be unloaded and cased.

7.  Guns/magazines may only be handled on the range.

8.  Instructor(s) / Operator(s) have the right to inspect any firearms or ammunition at any time.

9.  Keep the muzzle pointed downrange at all times

10.  Use only ammunition safe to use and of proper caliber for your firearm.

11.  Rapid fire, bump or slide fire devices are PROHIBITED.

12.  Fully automatic fire is PROHIBITED.

13.  Firearms kept outside the range area MUST be unloaded and have the action or slide locked back.

14.  Firing a shot on the Range that results in the bullet striking anything other than the target and/or backstop, may result in a repair fine of and/or your removal from the range.

15.  Commands issued by Instructor(s) / Operator(s) MUST be immediately obeyed without question.

16.  If the command “CEASE FIRE” is given: stop shooting immediately, remove your finger from the trigger, remove magazine, clear firearm, place the firearm on the bench. Step back from the firing line and wait for further instructions.

17.  No one other than Instructor(s) / Operator(s) may go forward of the firing line unless authorized or instructed to do so.

18.  When the line is declared “COLD,” all firearms must be safely grounded (action open and magazine removed), and all shooters must step away from the firing line. Absolutely no firearm handling, unloaded or otherwise, will occur while the line is “COLD.”

19.  Shooters may only use approved paper targets, placed at eye level.

20.  Cross firing of targets is prohibited.

21.  Only firing by aiming through firearm sights onto a target is permitted. (Ex. No firing from the hip or otherwise.)

22.  Shooters wanting to practice holster draw (strong side belt holsters only) MUST first be approved to do so by and notify Instructor(s) / Operator(s). Only strong side hip holster is permitted.

23.  You may NOT collect your own brass whether or not it is inside your lane (immediate area) or behind the firing. Brass from ALL shooters and brass that falls in front of the firing line may NOT be collected.

*** Children MUST be accompanied by an adult must be at least 5 years old to enter the range. ***

*** YOUR FAILURE TO ABIDE BY THESE RULES MAY RESULT IN A REPRIMAND OR YOUR IMMEDIATE REMOVAL FROM THE RANGE. ***
