Listing Submission Form
Fill out this submission form if you'd like your LA-based mutual aid effort to be listed in the contribution section of our upcoming dispatch. The dispatch goes out as a newsletter and as an instagram post. Please read over these important guidelines before submitting:
  • The group you're submitting must be a grassroots effort independent of any political campaign or religious group that does NOT collaborate with law enforcement. We are a group working toward abolition and want to boost groups with that same value.
  • Be succinct please! More succinct = more eyes on your listing. Please submit clear, brief and snappy (if possible) responses or be prepared for us to whittle them down a bit.  
  • Make sure other folks in your group know and are cool with the copy you are submitting. 
  • If you've been listed in a previous dispatch and want to resubmit with the same info give 1-2 details, please jump directly to the last question at the bottom of this form. 
WRITTEN COPY DISCLAIMER: We will be using the information you submit to create a clear, concise listing. If the copy you submitted works word-for-word as a listing, great! If needed, we will revise, shift or condense your submission but will do so without skewing the information. We'll reach out if anything needs to be clarified. We try but can't guarantee to send each group the copy of their final listing for approval before publishing.

Only select money if you have a specific ask or reason you are pushing donations during this time, rather than a blanket ask for money. We're happy to include your payment/donation info no matter what, in case folks are interested in sending you some, but MONEY will only be tagged as a category if you have a specific ask.

Example: We need help sorting clothes on Saturday, July 22nd at The Robinson S.P.A.C.E. in Historic Filipinotown.
If you selected ITEMS, briefly tell us WHAT items folks can contribute, WHEN you are accepting them and WHERE folks can bring them or HOW they can coordinate a pick-up or drop-off with your group.

Example: We are collecting new or gently used blankets and towels through the end of August. DM us on IG or email us to coordinate a drop-off or pick-up in Palms. 
If you selected MONEY, tell us HOW/WHERE folks can contribute funds and WHY* you are collecting funds/WHAT funds are needed for. Include links and/or handles for donations.

In an effort to make each dispatch more comprehensive and useful, we're highlighting what resources each group offers in addition to what each group is hoping people will donate. Clothing and supplies would be categorized as items. Showers, safe parking, haircuts would be categorized as Services and food is self-explanatory :)

Our goal is to publish each dispatch within the first week of the month but there's no guarantee that'll happen. If we're unable to publish the dispatch before the event takes place, we'd still love to help get the word out. So, if your group's listing includes an event and you'd like us to post it on our social media, please check the box below and be sure to include any links related to the event. 
If your listing does include a TIME-SENSITIVE EVENT/S, please select the date. 
If it's recurring, consider phrasing your submission appropriately (probably in the TIME section) so folks know they can sign up for the next one.
