Steeltown is excited to share our third annual Film & Media College Fair for students interested in pursuing film, digital media, and/or content creation virtually on Wednesday, November 3rd from 4pm-7pm and in-person on Thursday, November 4th from 5pm-7pm.

The 4-6PM time slot will be reserved for students to peruse the colleges, each in their respective breakout room, for group discussion where they can ask questions and get to know more about each school and their programming.

Schools will provide short videos for the students to watch ahead of time to narrow their list, familiarize themselves with their programs, and come prepared to ask questions. These videos will be included on our website and will be uploaded a few weeks before the event. 

The last hour will be reserved for Steeltown alumni and current college students to come together to chat with high schoolers in a peer-based Q&A session.

For the in-person fair on Thursday, November 4th, students will have the opportunity to meet with faculty from programs in which they're interested. The fair will take place in the Hillman Conference Room on the second floor of WQED Headquarters, located at 4802 Fifth Street, Pittsburgh, PA, 15213.

IMPORTANT COVID-19 INFO:  Participants must sign a release of liability, have their temperature taken upon entry, wear a mask and practice social distancing.  Masks will be required regardless of vaccination status.

VACCINATION REQUIREMENT: Proof of vaccination (vaccination card or photo of card) OR a negative COVID test from the last 72 hours, will be required.
