The Salisbury Township School District is committed to providing the best education, now and in the future, for all of its learners. According to the Governor's three phase plan to reopen Pennsylvania, there are different requirements for each phase: red, yellow, and green. We would like to involve your voice as we formalize the District's plan for what learning will look like in each phase.

Over the past two months, the leadership team has been working with other local districts and state professional organizations to develop plans for the 2020-21 school year. At this stage of planning, we are unable to provide you with a specific educational placement for your child(ren) in the fall, but we ask you to take a few minutes to complete this survey to assist us in our continued planning. As the District's plan becomes more formalized, we will communicate it to parents/guardians to assist in your own planning for the fall.

If you have more than one child enrolled in the Salisbury Township School District, PLEASE COMPLETE A SURVEY FOR EACH CHILD. For example, if you have two children enrolled in the District, complete the survey twice, once for each child.

For the Fall of 2020, should schools open with disease prevention measures in place, which option(s) would you prefer for your child? (Select all that apply) *

I prefer not to send my child into a school building until there is a vaccine for COVID-19.

Physical school buildings with appropriate disease prevention measures in place. This would involve all students in the buildings every day. It may be challenging to meet all CDC guidelines.

Combination of online learning and learning in the physical school buildings with appropriate disease prevention measures in place. This could mean students would attend school on certain assigned days, and learn online other days, ensuring smaller numbers of students to allow for social distancing.

Online learning with district teachers. The District would work with teachers to ensure live instruction.

Enroll in the district's Virtual Academy of Salisbury Township (VAST) for a full online learning experience. (This would be more like a cyber charter experience.)
