Complete this form to receive more information about signing up for the lower-division Humanities Honors GE sequence (HUM 10, 11, 20, and 21) in SJSU's Humanities Honors program.

By enrolling in Humanities Honors, students can complete the GE requirements in Area A (English Language and Communication and Critical Thinking) and Area C (Arts and Humanities) least likely to be covered by AP exams in a 12-unit course sequence that can be completed in either one year or two years, depending on your scheduling needs and preferred pacing. The program is especially recommended for students entering with AP credit in English Language or Lit. Team-taught courses and program events help to build a strong sense of learning community among Humanities Honors students going through the program together and create closer relationships between students and faculty.

In fall 2024, there will be two on-ramps to the program: you could take HUM 10 (a Monday/Wednesday AM course on speech-making and storytelling in ancient and modern cultures that fills the public speaking requirement), or you could take HUM 20 (a Tuesday/Thursday morning course on the arts, architecture, and performance in different cultures that includes field trips and other hands-on activities).
