Date of notice of cancellation. Part-time faculty are strongly encouraged to file for unemployment benefits as soon as possible after receiving notice of class cancellation. Delaying the application may reduce the number of weeks for which you are eligible for unemployment.

Part-time faculty who have classes cancelled within two weeks of the beginning of the term have a right to up to 4 hours pay for course prep. We recommend that you record your hours on your timesheet as soon as possible. Classes cancelled after the beginning of the term may be eligible for additional compensation.
