The Summer Intensives is a program that offers two-week classes in person at the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY in the heart of New York City in the month of July.
SKILLS - Digital Skills: July 5 - July 15 ($2,099)
INNOVATION - Journalism Innovation: July 19 - 29 ($2,099)
NYC - New York Reporting and Writing: July 19 - 29 ($2,099)
Lodging at The Towers is available for July 5 - 15 ($980) and/or July 19 - 29 ($980)
We will review applications on a rolling basis up until May 23, 2022. If you are accepted, you will be asked to pay a non-refundable 10% deposit/down payment to reserve your spot.
This program is open to any person (18 and older) interested in journalism techniques around the world. It is your responsibility to ensure your ability to travel to the United States for this non-degree program (such as obtaining the proper travel credentials and visas).
The Summer Intensives is a non-academic program that does not result in any earned credit hours, nor does it result in a degree, nor does it guarantee admission into any degree program. There is no financial aid or scholarship available for this program.
Participants must follow CUNY’s COVID-19 policy, which includes being fully vaccinated and wearing a mask indoors. The policy is subject to change.
