Valley & Ridge 2024 Application
In collaboration with the Association for Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE), Dickinson is hosting our 2024 Valley & Ridge Faculty Development Workshop for Dickinson faculty and has opened applications to educators from other colleges and universities to participate alongside the Dickinson faculty cohort. The workshop will be hosted on Dickinson's campus on May 21-23, 2024.

Faculty that are thinking about integrating social, economic and/or environmental sustainability into their undergraduate teaching are encouraged to apply no later than March 18, 2024. You will be notified of acceptance by mid April.

Applicants will be required to share a "project" title and summary in this application. Project proposals should include the modification of an existing course, or the creation of a new course to include sustainability learning. The "project" is up to you, and details will be fleshed out in the workshop. The application simply requires you to describe needed changes to an existing course or the concept for a new one. An outcome for workshop participants will include a sustainability-related or sustainability-focused course concept/design in their discipline.
