Hence, the Center for Sustainable Development Office was established which aims to ensure that sustainability is an essential component of the university’s core of instruction, research, innovation, and extension services, as well as its general administrative and general support services functions. 

With its utmost commitment to serve the Red Spartan Community, the Center for Sustainable Development strives to be a central hub for SDGs-related information and activities, initiating the preparation of a comprehensive Sustainability Plan, fostering collaboration, implementing programs that integrate sustainability into policies and practices, providing education and outreach to the university and its community, communicating progress, and continually improving sustainability efforts, including equipping campuses to envision their unique contributions and embedding sustainability into the university's culture and traditions.
