Sojourn Heights’ elder-led Discipleship Intensives are focused on developing an intimate prayer life, reading the Bible imaginatively and holistically, and living ordinary life in community with Kingdom purpose and Christlike humility. These intensives call for a high level of commitment, but they are not to be in competition with the Neighborhood Parish. Please approach this opportunity prayerfully, and seek the wisdom of others in your Parish, especially your Parish Leaders.

Term:  36 weeks (Thursday, March 5 — Thursday, November 5)
Group size:  6-8 (co-ed)
Time commitment:  5 hours/week
Expectations:

Attend no fewer than 32 of the 36 meetings (2 hours/week on Thursday nights).
Attend Sunday Gatherings and serve on a Ministry Team.
Faithfully cultivate edifying relationships within your Parish and neighborhood.
Prepare diligently. Complete all reading and Bible study (~3 hours/week).
Be open, available, and vulnerable. Share your life.
Purchase necessary materials (approximately $80 total).
