The CAPT open positions 2020-2021 school year.
The CAPT(Canton Association for Parents and Teachers) is currently seeking parents/guardians to fill the open positions(can be shared by more than one person) for the following offices for the 2020-2021 school year. If you are interested or would like to nominate someone you think that you would be a great candidate or have any questions about the positions, please contact Myriam Francoeur at hansencaptpresident@gmail.com. We will also put you in touch with the current CAPT officers with any questions you have about the offices and process.The deadline for submission is Monday, May 11, 2020. The next CAPT meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 12, 2020 where we will be voting for new officers and reviewing next year’s budget.

President(s): Serves as principal executive of the CAPT. Oversees and manages the activities of the CAPT. Presides and participates in all executive and membership meetings.

Vice President(s): Acts as aide to the President  and performs the president’s duties in the absence or inability of the president. Performs other delegated duties as assigned. Acts as the coordinator of volunteers.

Secretary/Secretaries- Keeps the minutes and records the proceedings of the CAPT and board meetings. Writes delegated correspondence and performs other assigned duties.

Treasurer(s)-Manages all CAPT funds. Reports expenditures and account balances at monthly CAPT meetings (collects and deposits monies from fundraisers).

Fundraiser(s)- Planning and coordinating events to raise money for CAPT, monitor fundraising drives
