Volunteer for a Preservation Section Committee
The Preservation Section Steering committee is seeking volunteers to join us in outreach, education, and fundraising efforts this year!
Are you looking for a way to get more involved in SAA? Are you interested in learning more about Preservation or already passionate about sharing preservation resources with others?

Learn about and promote preservation resources
We are seeking volunteers for four committees.*
•
Education Committee: This committee helps identify education needs of the membership and makes recommendations for learning opportunities.
•
Outreach/Communications Committee: This committee maintains our social media presence and helps spread the word among members about our work and topics of preservation interest
•
Program Committee: This committee works with the Steering Committee to develop the program during the Preservation Section business meeting
•
Nominating Committee: This committee nominates folks to serve in leadership positions (chair-elect and member-at large) of the Preservation section
•
National Disaster Recovery Fund for Archives (NDRFA) Committee--this committee helps raise money for the NDRFA and educates the membership regarding the fund.
