The Elidia F. Ortegón College Grant provides funding for college admissions counseling services, specifically catering to students who possess a genuine aspiration to obtain a college degree. You are eligible if:

  • You are a junior in high school student for the 2023-24 academic year

  • You belong to an underrepresented demographic or are considered a prospective first-generation college student

  • You have a strong desire to pursue a college education 

  • You come from a low-income background, further highlighting your need for comprehensive college admission counseling and support provided by GPS College Guidance

If you are selected as a grant recipient, we expect your wholehearted commitment to the college admission process. Our aim is to assist determined students in achieving their college graduation goals, ensuring their future success in their chosen careers, and fostering a spirit of giving back to future generations.
