- Choral, magicians, palm reading, tarot card, musical, dance, and performative acts found in the Medieval/Renaissance Era are accepted. Performances and acts must be relevant to the time period.
- Performers must maintain a Medieval, Renaissance, or Historical theme.
- Performers may place a tip jar and ask for tips during their performance.
- Performers must wear clothing typical in the Medieval or Renaissance Eras. No blue jeans, t-shirts, or other items of clothing that would jolt the attendees out of the ambience of a Renaissance Faire. There are many affordable dresses, tunics, and period-accurate attire online.
- Performers are encouraged to be "in character" during attendee interactions. It's not required to use an accent, but it does wonders for the immersion factor for attendees. They love it.
- Electricity is NOT guaranteed except for the main stage (old boat house area) Cottonwood Faire takes place at Thompson Memorial Park by the old boat house and power is not guaranteed throughout the picnic areas.
- Please ensure you are able to attend the event before applying.
- Performers may request a sound check on Friday during setup.
