FemSTEM pilot session 1, June-July 2021
The FemSTEM Coaching project aims to bridge the soft skills gender gap in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), by providing women with tools and techniques to develop their confidence and soft skills through a combination of online training and peer-support Coaching Circles, all framed around the RRP Framework. The RRP Framework stands for Recruitment, Retention and Progression; the 3 areas of focus for the FemSTEM project with regards to the career development of women interested or working in the STEM sector.

FemSTEM Coaching Circles are based on an innovative, personal development training methodology established by our UK partner, Inova Consultancy Ltd. The methodology is based on action learning, coaching and mentoring techniques, and uses self-reflection exercises and tools to help participants build confidence and self-efficacy and develop soft skills.

The Coaching CirclesTM will enable participants to:
- Improve self-reflection,
- Enhance confidence,
- Develop goal setting techniques,
- Manage stress, change, conflict etc. which may arise from career development, career breaks or finding a first job,
- Increase self-efficacy and assertiveness in a professional capacity.


This first pilot session to test this coaching technique and the online modules will take place online over 3 afternoons: on Monday 28 June, 5 and 12 July from 1 to 3:30 pm. Register here to participate in our first pilot session in English.
