OVERVIEW
We are looking for an energetic, creative and passionate person to join our team on a full-time basis.
This is an excellent opportunity to work as part of a friendly, driven and creative team based in Lurgan, Co. Armagh. BNL Productions LTD is entering its 15th year of business. Our projects are very diverse, this really is a “something different every day” type of job!  
We are constantly growing and excited to welcome a new member of our team  to take on this key role.We are searching for an enthusiastic Event Manager with a "can-do" attitude to assist our organization in hosting events that enhance our Company image, improve client loyalty, and enhance our brand-to-client experience.
 
BNL Productions manage contracts including (but not limited to):
- Seasonal events (e.g. Christmas markets, Christmas lights switch ons, Halloween Events, Summer Fun days etc)
- Corporate events including awards ceremonies, Seminars and conferences
- Interactive events for a family friendly target audience
- Entertainment specific to venues
- Festivals
- Outdoor events
 
The ideal candidate for this role should demonstrate exceptional organisational abilities, superb interpersonal skills, multi-tasking skills, and excellent time-management.

Event Manager Responsibilities may include:
- Pitching and tendering for work
- Developing and implementing event plans and concepts
- Handling budgeting and invoicing
- Liaising and negotiating with clients and suppliers
- Negotiating sponsorship deals
- Handling logistics
- Updating senior management- providing progress reports
- Managing marketing, branding and communication
- Developing event feedback surveys
- Handling post-event evaluation reports
- Researching and securing venues
- Planning and managing our events' calendar
- Negotiating quotes and agreements
- Desired Skills:
- Communication and marketing skills
- Project management experience (with reference to the responsibilities listed above)
- Good leadership skills
- Highly Organised
- Availability to work unsociable hours (early starts, late nights, weekends and public holidays)
- Good time management and initiative to work independently
- Proficiency in softwares including excel spreadsheet, word processing, Google Drive, Eventbrite, email platforms, Surveymonkey etc.
- Expert interpersonal skills and conflict management
- Risk management experience
- Literacy skills
- Creativity and the ability to pitch and tender for new work
- Ability and experience in leading on communication with corporate & community clients
- Ability to ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed to a satisfactory standard (Quotations, budget spreadsheets, contracts, project reports etc.)
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
- Pleasant and friendly personality with a professional persona
- Be able to articulate subjective correspondences regarding event vision
- Be consistent with regards to quality assurance throughout the project

SALARY
DOE
£22,000-£29,000 pa
Depending on relevant experience inclusive of Employer National Insurance and Employer Pension Contribution.

EXPENCES
Such as overnight accommodation, budgeted travel, where required and other and allowable expenditure will also be paid.

HOLIDAYS
28 days inclusive of all public holidays.

TOIL
Time in lieu facility for work in excess of weekly contracted hours or pre-agreed paid extra hours at employees hourly rate.
