MLK Week Poetry Slam
The 2021 MLK Celebration Planning Committee is hosting a Poetry Slam as one of the events to commemorate the MLK Day Celebration Week.

On Tuesday, January 19th 2021, students, faculty, staff, administrators and other members of the Wofford community will have an opportunity to read excerpts from texts written by folx who have dedicated their lives to promote unity through community responsibility and uplift the voices of the unheard and ignored. Registered participants will be able to choose from a list books, poems, and short stories provided by the hosts of the event or they may read an excerpt from a text they provide. All participants will be limited to a 2-minute reading to allow enough time for all other participants to share.

Everyone is encouraged to join us and participate. Please complete the form below register. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Nadia Glover, Coordinator of Inclusive Engagement at glovernr@wofford.edu
