Your time and input is very valuable to us. The Iowa Statewide Independent Living Council (Iowa SILC) is responsible for facilitating the development of the State Plan for Independent Living (SPIL). As part of this process, we are conducting a needs assessment evaluating the barriers and challenges that limit independent living for Iowans with disabilities.

Data gathered through this survey will be used to develop the SPIL. The SPIL helps provide direction towards services and resources to better help Iowans with disabilities live in their communities and reach their independent living goals.
