The CoolSaver Program Participant Agreement (the “Participant Agreement”) governs your participation in the Save on Energy CoolSaver Program (the “CoolSaver Program”). The CoolSaver Program is offered and funded by the Independent Electricity System Operator (“IESO”), and provides qualifying individuals with financial incentives for the installation or implementation of eligible energy efficiency measures, such as central air conditioner (A/C) tune-ups, A/C replacements, portable dehumidifiers and smart thermostats (“Eligible Measures”), as further described in the Participant Agreement.

To participate in the CoolSaver Program, you must read and accept the Participant Agreement and meet the following eligibility requirements (the “Eligibility Requirements”):

To participate in the CoolSaver Program, the individual participant (“Participant”), noted below, must read and accept this Agreement and meet the following eligibility requirements (the “Eligibility Requirements”):

1. Be at least 18 years old;

2. Reside in the City of Toronto, York Region (municipalities of Vaughan, Markham, Richmond Hill, and Aurora), or City of Ottawa;

3. Own, rent or lease the residence where the Eligible Measures will be installed or implemented.

By signing and submitting this online application form, you confirm your consent to, and agree to comply with and be bound by, the terms of the Participant Agreement.

If the IESO accepts your application and the Participant Agreement, you will be eligible to receive a financial incentive (“Participant Incentive”) for each Eligible Measure installed or implemented, as specified in the Participant Agreement to offset a portion of the total measure cost. You will be responsible for paying the remaining “Participant Contribution” amount.

I authorize CHC to input information into the CoolSaver Program.

I consent to and authorize the CHC and IESO to collect, use and disclose information related to my participation in the CoolSaver Program for the purposes set out in the Participant Agreement.

I understand that by signing a Work Order, I consent to and authorize the Trade Ally to implement or install the Eligible Measure as outlined in the Work Order and agree that I am responsible for the Participant Contribution.

I consent to CHC sharing information with and receiving information from the operators and/or administrators of other energy conservation programs in Ontario, related to your participation in other energy conservation programs or the CoolSaver Program for the purpose of assessing to eligibility to receive energy efficiency measures or incentives.
