We offer three types of mentorship opportunities for professionals:

①     Incubation — Mentors will directly mentor a startup and student team from the Incubation Programme for around 3 - 4 months. During this time, mentors will offer their expertise, knowledge, and resources on an as-needed basis according to the needs of the team director and entrepreneur. (Commitment: Medium — High)

②     Capacity Building — Mentors with more specific skill sets can offer ad-hoc support to startups or student teams on specific sectoral, geographical, or task-based topics (Commitment: Low)

③     Thought Leadership — Mentors lend their knowledge to BfE’s global community and external audiences by speaking at future events, writing articles for BfE’s blog, or publishing other insights for organizational growth. (Commitment: Low — Medium)

Prospective professionals can denote their interest in — and be accepted to — one, two or all three of these mentorship opportunities.

Some notes...

⏩    Upon joining BfE as an Incubation mentor, you will receive updates on mentorship opportunities twice a year (Aug/Sep and Dec/Jan), where you can indicate which social enterprises you are interested in mentoring — in accordance with your interests, skillset and availability. Selected mentors will be notified and put in contact with respective BfE student teams within one month.

⏩    Capacity Building and Thought Leadership mentor opportunities will become available on a rolling and on-going basis throughout the year. Available opportunities will be posted on the BfE Members Portal (under development) and in future email newsletters.
