Intended Audience: EMPG Subrecipients

Purpose: Provides an opportunity for evaluating the use of NIMS in emergency management programs as well as documenting some of the strengths and challenges.

Time Commitment: This tool will take approx 30 to 45 minutes

Has your jurisdiction formally adopted and/or maintained adoption of the National Incident Management System as their all-hazards incident management system for Fiscal Year (FY) 2023? *

Jurisdictions should designate and maintain a point of contact (POC) to serve as the principal coordinator for the implementation of NIMS within their jurisdiction. 

For most jurisdictions this is likely a training representative or coordinator for your law enforcement or fire agencies, but it can also be the emergency manager if appropriate. 

This information should be included in the Reporting Period D NIMS implementation survey.
