Job Summary:Starter marshals are responsible for the orderly and timely movement of tee times, monitoring the pace of play, reminding groups that fall out of position of ways to speed up pace, and ensuring golf course policies are followed in addition to providing guests with high quality customer service.
Responsibilities and duties:
- Interact with golfers in a friendly, helpful manner.
- Keep tee times moving on time and in an orderly manner.
- Communicate with pro shop as needed.
- Track players and speed of play.
- Follow policies and procedures of Hermitage Golf Course.
- Monitor water stations and course cleanliness.
- Treat all customers and employees with respect.
- Maintain friendly appearance; greet customers with a smile.
- Ensure clothing is clean, pressed, and in good condition and overall attire and appearance meets dress code guidelines.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 16 years of age with a driver's license.
- Physically able to handle manual labor as needed.
- Maintain general knowledge of golf course operations.
