The Participation Nation Champion Awards are presented annually to individuals from four of the NLESD regions (Eastern, Central, Western and Labrador) and one from CSFPTNL schools.  Nominees are adult event facilitators who advocate for increasing physical activity for their students in the extra-curricular time slot.  They also promote the need for recreational sport and physical activity opportunities for students within neighbouring schools. Nominators must represent a school in good standing with SSNL and all nominations must be endorsed by the school principal or district staff. Nominees will be evaluated by the PN Council Awards Panel.
