W1: Copyediting: State Contest 2024

For the copyediting contest, students will complete and submit their entry using this form. Here are some details:

Format: Google Form, not programmed with a timer
Time limit: 65 minutes
Proctored? Yes. Each school must arrange a teacher/adviser/staff to supervise and ensure students are following rules.
Section #1: 25 multiple-choice questions asking students to identify the sentence that is correctly written in terms of grammar and AP Style.
Section #2: Students will write a note that provides feedback and coaching on a news story that is provided.
