Vertex is a free online 6-week pre-calculus program designed to prepare students for the expectations of Math 0050 (Analytic Geometry and Calculus) or Math 0090 (Introductory Calculus I). Students can expect to learn about important math topics that will better position them to succeed in their transition to college. Students can also expect to make connections with other incoming students and program mentors and have the opportunity to ask lots of questions. Program mentors will offer insight into the expectations of Brown, and introduce students to the student support resources and co-curricular activities that are available.
