This form is hardship requests for students in Pre-K thru 8th grade. This is NOT for Out of County requests. PLEASE DO NOT submit out of county requests via this form.
All Tift County students must attend the school in the attendance zone in which they reside. In cases of significant hardship, the District Hardship Committee may approve exceptions.
Lack of transportation is not considered a hardship. Tift County Schools provides free transportation to all students beyond a 1 - 1 1/2 mile radius of the zoned school. Examples of hardship include but are not limited to: DFACS, foster care, legal intervention, etc.
Requests for convenience will NOT be considered.
*If your request is denied, please understand that there will be no appeals process. We may choose to revisit the request if the circumstances are significantly different than at the time of the denial.
*If approved, parent must provide transportation to and from school. Your child should arrive in a timely manner and be picked up during the time specified by the school.
