Opening Prayer:  Start with the Sign of the Cross and pray the Hail Mary together as a family.
Session Theme:  S - Sacrifice, Spirit, Sacraments; Mary
Our theme this month was looking at a couple ways the letter S in Eucharist can help us better understand what the Eucharist is and also we had a tour of the Church and looked at Mary as the model disciple.
Different Ways to Pray and Types of Prayer Activities
One of the questions that came up a lot in September's what/why question activity was variations on what does it mean to pray, why do we pray, how do we pray, etc.  So we will be including a different type of prayer and/or way to pray each month to give you more options at home.
The Rosary:  This month's Prayer experience was to look at the Rosary as a form of prayer and different ways we can pray the rosary, other than all at once.  Spend some time as a family this month to explore the rosary as a form of prayer.  There are additional rosary resources included in this month's home kit.  Download the below coloring/rosary info page for all the prayers from: https://www.thecatholickid.com/how-to-pray-the-rosary-coloring-page/
Has your family prayed the rosary together? Does your family have any rosary traditions or traditions you'd like to try?   *
Each month we receive a short presentation from one of our priests or deacons.  This month, Father Steve gave us a reflection on several of the "S" words that help us to better understand the Eucharist. Please watch the video and answer the following questions.

Father Steve's Video:  Question 1:  What does Father Steve give as his definition of "Sacrament"? *
Father Steve's Video:  Question 2: Who changes the bread and the wine into the Body and Blood of Christ (hint: it is not the priest)?   *
Father Steve's Video:  Question 3: Did you hear anything new or interesting about any of the other "S" words?  Also, please feel free to share any other insights or ask any questions that you have about his presentation.
