Ahkilna: A Survey to understand and highlight Tunisian youth's views and perspectives
Young Tunisians deserve to be heard. Their opinions and perspectives have not been listened to enough which leaves a vacuum that needs to be filled: how do young Tunisians perceive the current state of affairs? What do they think about the status quo, politics and economics? What is their stance on political participation, civic engagement, education and social inequalities? What is there in their hearts and minds that should absolutely be brought to light? What works and deserves to be scaled up?
We are asking you questions through this survey that touch upon your hopes for Tunisia and your views on political and civic engagement, education, job opportunities and economic hurdles as well as LGBTQ rights. This survey has been designed to shed light on the perceptions and opinions of young Tunisian people aged between 16 and 30 who have been largely ignored or discarded. We want to bring these voices to the forefront and amplify them through collecting answers from you and using them in our report that will eventually help highlight young Tunisians’ voices.
This survey is linked to a series of online discussions with Tunisian youth, an event that will be announced soon. If you allow us to contact you with an invitation as participant or speaker, after having filled out the survey, please indicate your e-mail or social media handle in the first section of the survey.
Duration of the survey: approximately 10-15 minutes
The collected data will not be shared with third parties and will only be accessed by the Khalifa Ihler Institute for the aforementioned research purposes. Without your explicit consent, we will neither store your contact details nor reach out to you.
Thank you for your time.
