Strike Info
We strike for the climate and all its pervasive ties to every single facet of our lives. We strike for our own survival, the health and happiness of our peers, seniors, and juniors, and for the hope of a future generation.

Grounds for Striking:
- The growing need for Open Global Borders as the number of Climate Refugees mounts

- The Active Protection and Expansion of Indigenous Rights due to the historical and present injustice of their continued human rights violations, as the original bloodline and keepers of Turtle Island, as Canadians, as human beings
      - *particular concern is put on the women and girls of the Indigenous peoples due to their targeting and higher murder rate

- Comprehensive Healthcare Coverage as the current health needs of the people, from the smallest minorities to the wealthiest among us will only expand with the growing volatility and unpredictability of Weather Patterns, Natural Disasters, and Resource Scarcity
      - *again, with every social issue, minority groups (women, queer people, black people, brown people, indigenous people east asians), in line with the nature of their marginal status, will be most affected

- A Healthy & Ecologically-Capable Minimum Wage is necessary as people can't buy Energy Efficient Products or shop at whole foods (live healthily) with even $15 an hour

- Finally, while the human suffering is at the forefront in terms of significance when it comes to the threat on our human habitats, unforgettable is the atrocity that is the suffering and extinction of this planet's vast and incomparable biodiversity.
