Reasons for Wanting to Leave Teaching: Teach Well Toolkit Survey
This survey has three aims:

1) To collect anonymised accounts from primary, secondary and sixth form teachers in the UK of why they want to leave teaching. The accounts will be compiled into an anonymised representative collection to illustrate the retention and recruitment crisis in education.

2) To identify in detail what issues need to be addressed and what actions need to be taken to reduce the number of teachers wanting to leave the profession, thus improving retention and increasing the number of applications to train to be teachers.

3) To collect information that will be used to form the basis of a letter that will be sent to the DfE and all MPs, identifying the issues that need to be addressed and actions taken nationally to improve retention and recruitment in the teaching profession.
