How Big Are the atDNA Databases?
Some DNA testing companies report their databases sizes periodically while others don't publish their numbers at all.  We can estimate the latter by comparing how many matches we have at the former.  Screenshots show how to access the information at each testing site from a computer. If you haven't tested at a company, skip the question.

How many *pages* of matches do you have at Living DNA?
Log in, click on "Relatives" in the side bar, scroll to the bottom of your match list, and report the last page number shown.  No need to count the matches on any of the pages.

Log in, click on "DNA" in the top bar then "DNA Matches".  At the top of your match list, click the "Shared DNA" filter and report the number given for all matches.

Log in, click on "Family & Friends" in the top menu then "View all DNA Relatives".  At the top of your match list, report the total number of relatives.  Note that 23andMe caps the number of matches you see, so this number may be smaller than expected.
