When organizing for serious job actions, it is important to activate both HEA members and members of the Highline community.  We are looking for team members who will help build connections within their buildings or outward to parents, neighborhoods and community members.

I will help organize members to participate in solidarity actions such as 1) wearing a RED shirt and/or posting a pro-union virtual zoom background, 2) writing letters to elected officials, or 3) organize parents and community members (e.g., hold parades, attend meetings) in order to delay or resist returning to in-person instruction until member demands are met. *
