Classes are entirely on-line and can be accessed anywhere with internet access from a desktop pc, mac, tablet , android or iphone mobile phone.

The HATW training is 10 weekly instructor led training sessions followed by an official F.C.C. General Class Exam. The sessions begin at 6:30pm and continue until 9:30pm for 9 weeks. Each session is on the same day of the week.

The 10th session is a 2 hour intensive review just before you take your exam. You'll then take your exam at a location and date that are most convenient for you.  

Exams are available almost anywhere in the US.  We can assist you in finding the exam location and date that are most convenient for you.

Once you pass the examination you will receive an FCC authorized certification that you have passed.
You can get on the radio as a Extra and use your new privileges as soon as you pass.

The exam is currently not available on-line. It costs $15 in most locations.

Many people who participate will pass the test the first time. If you don't pass the first time, you can take the test again for a small fee. You will get a different set of questions and that gives you another shot at questions that you may have better luck with.

There is an additional $15.00 fee to take the test again. The test can be paid for as $15 cash.

The cost is $125. This includes the study session and study guide.
