Class Sports/House Competition - From Home
Take part in this half terms class sports competition - from home!

Score points for your school house team (Red, Purple, Blue or Green) by taking part in the below three events from home.

You have 1 minute for each challenge to try and score as many points as you can. The more children from your team that take part the more points the team scores. You can also ask the adults in your house to have a go and they can score points for your team. They just need to fill in another form.

You will be able to see a video example of all three challenges/events below. Feel free to have lots of turns and practice and then submit your best scores by Friday 12th February at the latest. I will announce the results after the half term break.

Item Transfer Challenge
You have one minute - how many times can you transfer the items (ball, socks, ball of paper)? Markers (tea towels, books, paper) need to be five steps apart and each time you transfer an item from one side to the other it scores you a point.

Aim and Bank event
You have one minute - how many points can you score? You will need to be 4 steps away from your target (bucket, litter bin, saucepan) and try and throw your item (ball, socks, ball of paper) into it. The first time you get your item in it scores you 10 points - you can 'bank' these points by shouting bank and writing 10 on a piece of paper and then have another go for another 10 points. OR you can risk your points by not banking and have another turn and score higher - get your item in again it is worth 20 points, again 40 points, again 80 points (doubling each time) However, if you miss at any point you lose any unbanked points and start back at 0.

All banked points at the end of the minute need adding up for your total score.
