This form is for Year 8 students to complete, together with their parent/carer, to select their preferred Open Options for study from Year 9.

All students will study:
Maths
English (Literature & Language)
Science (either combined or as three separate Sciences)
French or Spanish (continuing with whichever they have studied in Year 7 & 8)
History & Geography (at the end of Year 9 students will choose which to continue with or can opt to continue with both)
Core PE
CLASS (Culture, Lifestyle and Society Studies which includes Religious Studies) (non examined)

In addition to the above, students will study three subjects of their choice from the 'Open Options'.

Through this form students need to select five different Open Option subjects in order of preference. Every effort will be made to allocate students their top three preferences but in case this isn't possible the forth and fifth choices are important. The Options Booklet published on the website provides an overview of each subject.
