• Greater Kansas City Regional at Lee's Summit North High School - Lee's Summit, MO (Mar. 30-Apr. 1, 2023)

Student Ambassadors will speak to guests about the FIRST experience and its benefits. They will give tours of the pit areas, the competition arena, and exhibit areas. We ask that each team select one or two ambassadors. Students will be scheduled for one or two three-hour shifts over the competition days.

The following team members should not be nominated:

• Drive team members
• Chairman’s presenters
• Members with critical positions

If your team is short-handed, you are not required to nominate anyone.
If you are a rookie team, your ambassador will be paired with an experienced ambassador.

Ambassador Qualifications:

• Good communication skills
• Ability to work with both adults and children
• Ability to promote FIRST
• A thorough understanding of the game
• Ability to attend the training meeting at the regional you are attending
        • Heartland - Thursday, March 16 at 1:00pm-2:30pm
        • Central Missouri - Thursday, March 23 at 1:00pm-2:30pm
        • Greater KC - Thursday, March 30 at 1:00pm-2:30pm

Ambassador Responsibilities
• Welcome and provide information to guests as they enter the venue
• Serve as a tour guide for visitors
• Escort VIPs, potential sponsors, educators, and groups of students visiting the competition
• Give multiple tours during assigned shifts, each tour lasting about 30 minutes
• Wear his or her team’s uniform and ambassador name tag (will be provided)
• Behave in a manner that positively reflects FIRST and the Greater KC Regional

This form will allow you to submit student ambassador names for all 3 regionals: Heartland, Greater KC, and Central Missouri. Please submit nominations by Monday before the relevant regional.
