This is the form where those who want to participate in Listen to Dis Workshops in the Spring of 2022 can sign up. These workshops will all be done over Zoom or Google Meet and a link will be sent out to all participants closer to the date of the workshop. There is no fee to participate in any workshop. Please fill out the below information.

Ensemble Building with Kristi Hansen .
March 17th, 2022. 6pm–8pm.
en∙sem∙ble - än’sämbəl/ - together.
Using playful, ensemble-building exercises based on theatrical traditions, this workshop includes communication activities, problem solving and/or decision-making activities, adaptability and/or planning activities, and activities that focus on building trust within an ensemble of artists. Through these exercises, groups come to better understand each other’s strengths, weaknesses, and interests, allowing for more enjoyable, effective, and innovative collaborations to take place.

Fantastical Gardening: A Digital Collage Workshop with Rachel Broussard.
April 21st, 2022. 6pm–8pm.

Join artist Rachel Broussard in a free online collaborative digital collage workshop, where we will be planting a digital fantasy garden. Rachel will give an introduction to her own artwork, collage techniques, and other artists working in collage. Using found images of native and exotic flora and fauna, we will make collages of spectacular gardens – just in time for spring! This workshop does not require materials. We just ask that you bring some seeds (ideas) of which kind of extraordinary plants you would like to see in our fantasy garden.

Puppetry for Storytelling.
Mary 19th, 2022. 6pm–8pm.

How can puppetry serve your work? How can your work reach more people through puppetry? Come and learn the basics of puppetry and how to incorporate it into your own work as a theatre artist! Bring the inanimate to life and speak volumes though movement and gesture. Reach deeper into our humanity through the exploration of the inhuman.
